Now, let's go ahead and jump on into them.

Top Five Web Hosting Platforms 2018

1. Bluehost

Bluehost is a long time favorite for me
and it's incredible best server time, great support, and they build their own plugin for Wordpress that has caching, that has the ability optimized site speed, minify javascripts, etc. Bluehost has a plugin already installed; and on top of that, when you sign up with Bluehost you get free domain, free SSL for Wordpress sites, and everything is unlimited. You can have as many emails as you want, you can get as many traffic as you want for your sites. It's all unlimited. You don't have to worry about it. That is not the case with some of these on this list. So, if you want an unlimited plan with the most widespread features, Bluehost is probably the best for you. The price is just $3.95 per month. You can check it out here

WP Engine is very dedicated Wordpress host. They promised the best uptime. They also promised the best overall Wordpress Hosting for a price of 25 thousand hits to your site every month and will cost you $35-$290 per month. Now from my experience, if you're running a blog or website and you are running or planning to run Adsense on it, you are going to get profit but not alot. However, that will also depend on the kind of niche you are in.

So, overall, this is probably the best for those of us who are selling products and are running e-commerce products because it has free SSL, and on top of that, you are going to be able to get the best, quickest Wordpress toast. These guys are the best but it comes at price because they are just all dedicated to Wordpress.

You can check it out here.

They also have an affiliate program where you can promote their program and earn big commission on a successful purchase. Sign up for WP Engine affiliate program

3. 1&1 Hosting

In complete contrast with WP engine, 1and1 is the cheapest option on the list and is only $0.99 per month, however that is only for the first 12 months but still that is incredible. Everything is unlimited except, i think, server space. You only get like 2.5Gb with that but everything else is unlimited and so, we don't have to worry about that.

Now, it has a cheaper host for a reason, that is the server quality and support might suffer a little bit compared to others on this list who are more expensive. But if you're just getting started out and you want to try out with wordpress, 1&1 is a great option. They are also great for starting because you get a free domain which means basically for 12 dollars. You are getting hosting for a year and a free domain. No body else offer something like that. So you can check it out here.

4. inmotion Hosting

In Inmotion hosting, you can get a 10,000 hits per month Wordpress sites and the price is $6.99 per month for Wordpress sites. The actual price is 8.99 per month, and at present they have a discount of 22%. However, inMotion Hosting is not  a dedicated Wordpress host. They have a great uptime, they have a great support but they're not 100% focusing on Wordpress. With that you are not going to get some of the optimization features that you get with wp-engine but the trade off on the price is probably going to be worth it. You also get a free domain with inMotion hosting, and overall, their support time is pretty good and their uptime is great, one of the best in the industry.

So, if you are looking for a solid host, check out inMotion.

5. SiteGround

In SiteGround, the pricing starts from $3.95 per month and offers 10,000 visitors a month. So, there are some dollars more expensive than inmotion. But SiteGround, in my experience is a little bit better support. They have similar uptime to inmotion. There is a reason why they are more expensive and i think that's because they pump that money into better support, better overall helping you keep your site right something that inmotion might suffer. If you want you can check it out too. Click here.

So, these are the top five web hosting platforms 2018 you should choose if you are planning to have a site or blog and start your career as blogging.
